We are looking for an Assurance Specialist to join our team in Dublin. The successful individual will be responsible foridentifying trends/areas of concern and completing reviews of these areas. They will look at these areas with an independent view but work with the team to help make improvements as the review is underway.This is a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract .
The position is based on site in our Cherrywood office, with an opportunity to benefit from Aviva’s smart working arrangements which offers a mix of home and office working. While this role is in the greater Dublin area, it would suit those with customer service skills living in Wicklow/Kildare/north Wexford area also. We have free parking for staff who commute by car or motorcycle or there are public transport links close-by (the LUAS Green Line and 84a bus stop is one minute away).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete Proactive Thematic reviews based on
Trend Analysis
Concerns raised by Stakeholders
Reviews before Internal Audit/2LOD Risk Monitoring Review
Test adherence to
Regulations,
T&C’s,
Internal Business policies and standards
Process documentation.
Support the business to implement recommendations found in thematic reviews
Deliver Outcomes testing evaluating the Customer Experience and Journey throughout
Analysis of iCare Risk Events and Issues to identify trends in Root Causes and work with the relevant Business areas to draw up an action plan to address themes found.
Share learnings across functions and with IWR
Share best practice to support the business in implementing effective solutions (without Reinventing the wheel)
Supporting the business to identify and report emerging, strategic and immediate business risk
Support creation of action plans required to ensure risks remain within tolerance
Skills & Experience:
Experience with internal auditing is desirable
Experience in Insurance/Financial services is preferable
Understanding of what makes a good Root Cause Analysis
Knowledge of Risk management
Experience in change management
Ability to analyse processes and interpret them.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
