The Role

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic professional with a passion for ensuring the integrity of revenue streams? Cubic is seeking a Revenue Assurance Analyst to leverage your expertise in maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of our revenue operations.

Reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager, you will be an integral part of our collaborative and innovative culture. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong foundation in controls, data analytics, and reporting. Your ability to interpret data will enable you to work seamlessly across teams, providing valuable insights and solutions to enhance our Revenue Assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Finance, Wholesale, Commercial, Product, and Data Analytics departments. Your key duties will include:

  • Designing and implementing Revenue Assurance controls, reports, and dashboards to minimize revenue leakage while identifying recovery opportunities.
  • Monitoring these controls and dashboards to spot revenue-related risks, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring they are effectively implemented.
  • Analysing and transforming diverse internal and external data sets to derive actionable insights.
  • Investigating instances of revenue leakage and cost exposure to uncover opportunities for improvement i.e. reconciling activities between network elements, device performance, and billing systems.
  • Keeping billing system rate tables current and accurate for both revenue and cost considerations.
  • Conducting regular reconciliations and analyses of revenue and cost streams to confirm billing accuracy.
  • Assisting the wholesale team in managing relationships with multiple roaming partners.
  • Coordinating with the Data team on product implementation and Finance on monthly billing activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to harness advanced analytics for improved business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce or related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, preferably within the telecommunications industry
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or python with experience in querying large and complex databases
  • Proficiency in analysing, manipulating and interpreting large and complex datasets
  • Familiarity with BI & visualisation tools
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
