Established in 1993 by Paul Reynolds, Reynolds Commercials is a Renault Trucks official service partner across the midlands and surrounding areas in Ireland. Over the past five years, we have achieved remarkable growth and are now seeking an ambitions individual to drive the Sales Function for the business. The upcoming opening a CVRT Test Centre in early 2024, will present additional opportunities for sales and service. As part of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to represent the renowned Renault Master and Renault Trafic models and contribute to the continued success of our dealership. Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Person to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to sell Renault Trucks' Master and Trafic range of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) to businesses and individuals. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in vehicle sales, but this is not essential. We are open to candidates with a passion for sales, a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle industry, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with potential customers, including businesses and individuals, to promote and sell Renault Master and Renault Trafic LCVs.
  • Provide product information, demonstrations, and pricing details to customers for the specified LCV models.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, track leads, and manage the sales process from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with the service and parts teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in sales training and stay updated on product knowledge specific to the Renault Master and Renault Trafic models.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and other marketing activities to promote the Renault Master and Renault Trafic models.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales opportunities using our CRM system.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the sales of traded-in vehicles.
  • Source vehicles as requested by customers.
  • Potential to learn about and sell HGVs further down the line, as part of your developmental goals.
  • Establish and set up the sales function within the business. Currently, sales are organic and ad hoc, and this role will be instrumental in creating an organized and efficient sales process.
  • Strong Excel skills required for efficient stock management and financial tracking.
  • Acute financial acumen to manage stock plans efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry, is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of Renault Master and Renault Trafic models or similar commercial vehicles is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel for customer visits and events.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other sales software tools.
  • A customer-centric mindset and the ability to provide exceptional service.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with customers.
