National Account Executive

 

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our sales team as a National Account Executive working in our grocery / cake business unit.  This is an ideal role for an experienced self-sufficient sales administrator/ account executive who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.  We are looking for someone who will offer complete admin support to the National Account Manager and doesn’t shy away from asking questions and enjoys improving processes, offering new ways of working.

 

Travel to the Dublin office is required once a week.

 

Working with the National Account Manager you will support them in executing strategic customer business plans and will be directly responsible for the administration of your product portfolio across the Irish market. Responsibility includes managing pricing, promotional & new product submissions, developing & maintaining a range of business tracking reports as well as managing customer services communication.

 

The role…

 

  • Support National Account Manager to manage product portfolio including Core Range, NPD; Relaunches; Discontinuations and Seasonal.

  • Manage all Price Files (customer contract prices files & internal price files) offline and live in SAP (TPM) including loading pricing and forecasts in conjunction with the National Account Manager to ensure the business Live Plan / Monthly Finance Cut is accurately delivered & maintained.

  • Accurately complete and submit all Promotional Proposals to relevant customer trading teams in a timely manner according to the agreed customer promotional calendar.

  • In conjunction with the National Account Manager, accurately forecast stock requirements for Base, Promotion and NPD.

  • Attend monthly demand planning and weekly supply chain meetings to manage any changes to the supply outlook for your product portfolio.

  • Manage and be the dedicated point of contact for all communication of stock shortages to customers & Field Sales Team.

  • Liaise as necessary with the Sales Force, keeping lines of communication open and updating monthly Field Sales Reports & any other ad hoc communication.

  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Direct experience working within a fast-paced environment in a sales admin role (working with FMCG customers in the multiple channels in ROI desirable but not essential)

  • Team player, with ability to work autonomously

  • Strong communicator who is comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders

  • Comfortable working cross functionally (internally & externally)
