Oxfam Ireland Direct Acquisition Fundraiser

Direct acquisition fundraising plays a very important role enabling Oxfam Ireland to meet fundraising targets, allowing us to maximise the benefits for those in need. We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to become part of our Direct Acquisition team, as Door-to-Door Fundraisers.

The role entails organising regular donations with members of the public.

Fixed hourly rates of pay: €14.80 - €16.49 per hour, and in addition, performance related pay
First 20 training shifts at €13.34 per hour.

The post will involve:

  • Recruiting donors door-to-door to support Oxfam Ireland through direct debit regular donations
  • Informing members of the public of Oxfam's crucial work
  • Representing Oxfam Ireland in a courteous and professional manner at all times

Please apply if you possess:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with and influence members of the public
  • Experience with fundraising, customer service or sales an advantage, though not essential as full training will be provided
