The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager in a full-time permanent position, the successful candidate will support the HR team in all aspects of HR and delivering best practices while ensuring compliance with Irish employment law.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in end-to-end recruitment, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing contracts.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate the induction process for new hires and ensure smooth offboarding for leavers.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Prepare payroll inputs, maintain attendance records, and support benefits administration.
- Employee Relations Support: Assist in handling queries for all stakeholders, preparing documents, and supporting HR initiatives.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure HR policies and procedures align with Irish employment legislation and company values.
- Training & Development: Track training records and support the implementation of learning initiatives.
- HR Reporting and Data Analytics: Generate reports on HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, and compliance.
- General HR Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR team and support ad hoc projects as required.
Essentials Required for this role
- Experience: At least 3-4 years in an HR administrative role, with working experience of Irish Employment Law.
- Skills: Excellence in attention to detail and organisational skills, with a moral ethos for handling confidential information.
- Systems: Experience using an HRIS and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with an aptitude for learning new technology.
- Attitude: A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented individual who takes ownership of their responsibilities.
