Ryanair is currently looking for a Maintenance Planning Engineer to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Ryanair's growth plans to operate 800 aircraft and serve 300 million guests in the next decade.
The selected candidate will be part of a team responsible for planning scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for Ryanair's fleet of over 550 Boeing and Airbus A320 aircraft across European engineering bases, located at the Engineering office in Airside Swords.
The Role:
Ryanair's Maintenance Planning team, based in Swords, Dublin, works under the Head of Planning and Planning Managers.
The team is divided into Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance, each led by a manager and two lead engineers. Engineers in Maintenance Planning have opportunities to collaborate with multiple Tech Services teams daily. Positions within Maintenance Planning comprise of:
  • Duty Fleet Planner
  • Maintenance Coordinator
  • Line Maintenance – Short Term Fleet Planner
  • Line Maintenance – Hangar Planner
  • Forecast Control
  • Base Maintenance Planner
  • Base Maintenance – Long Term Fleet Planner
  • Project Engineer
Being part of the team allows you to gain valuable knowledge in Aircraft Maintenance Planning and more. Responsibilities in planning department include, but not limited to:
  • Reviewing and planning daily Engineering Maintenance requirements.
  • Collaborating with other Engineering departments to fulfill tasks and ensure smooth operation.
  • Creating Maintenance Plans for regional coordinators and maintaining Fleet Forecasts.
  • Utilizing gained skills and knowledge for improved planning processes.
  • Assigning Maintenance tasks within the Ryanair Network.
  • Offering planning support to Maintenance and Operations Control Department.
  • Participating in meetings to discuss Maintenance Plans implementation.
  • Performing other duties as directed by Planning management.
  • Continuing training in the Planning Department and area of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Word & Excel.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with AMOS, Netline, or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Aviation knowledge is advantageous.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
