In this role, you'll be a vital part of the People team, working closely with the People Partner, Legal, and Regulatory teams. Your responsibilities will include collaborating across functions and time zones, solving issues, and becoming a subject matter expert within the team. You'll act as a crucial link between employees and management, ensuring all voices are heard and processes are executed fairly and in compliance. Most notably, you'll have the opportunity to impact the HR tech industry and contribute to Remote's success as the top HR platform for global businesses.

What you'll bring
  • Experience in a People team, especially in an Employee Relations Partner role supporting a global organization.
  • Experience managing employee relations across multiple countries is a bonus.
  • Commitment to upholding Remote's values within the team and the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant training and certifications as an Employee Relations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
  • Independently ensure fairness and equity in the workplace.
  • Support the implementation of procedures to maintain global compliance and a positive work environment.
  • Assist the HR Team with employee relations, conflicts resolution, and other workplace issues.
  • Conduct investigations and due diligence on complex cases.
  • Work closely with Legal and HR Partners to promote positive employee relations.
  • Guide and advise the People team on employee matters.
  • Maintain a healthy, compliant work environment.
  • Analyze employee data to ensure compliance and support employees effectively.
  • Develop and deliver employee training programs.
  • Collaborate with regulatory and compliance teams to meet requirements.

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote aims for fair, unbiased compensation and benefits, above local rates globally. We advocate against unethical labor practices and strive to uplift local talent worldwide.

Our salary ranges reflect geographic pay differentials to stay competitive and fair. The base salary for this position is $38,000 to $86,000 USD, subject to various considerations.
