Being the top salon software brand for premium independent salons, we aim to evolve into a platform for companies to create applications tailored to upscale salons.

Our system covers all aspects of the salon experience, from the in-salon software desktop application to Phorest Go (the staff app), online bookings, and custom native apps for each salon. In an average month, we manage millions of appointments, SMS, and emails, as well as hundreds of online bookings and customized native apps.

The Opportunity:

Phorest is looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Junior Event Sales Executive. This role focuses on selling tickets for our conferences and events to individuals and groups worldwide. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, be driven, and have a knack for sales. This position offers growth opportunities within the company and operates on a commission basis.

The Salon Owner Summit is a prominent industry conference in the UK and Ireland, attracting key players, professionals, and press representatives. As a two-day event centered on growth-driven education and networking, it has become a must-attend on the industry's calendar, showing consistent growth and increasing significance.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate leads and engage potential clients interested in attending conferences and events
  • Reach out to prospects via various channels to boost ticket sales
  • Provide detailed event information to potential customers
  • Close sales efficiently and manage ticket orders
  • Handle event registrations and inquiries from attendees
  • Keep accurate attendee records and collaborate with the Global Events Manager
  • Work with the marketing team to develop strategies and materials
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales or customer service
  • Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools beneficial
  • Interest in conference and events management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
