Position: Associate, Content Production & Services, Release Specialist Skillsoft is currently looking for a Content Release Specialist to take charge of overseeing the scheduling, coordination, testing, and execution of new and updated e-learning content releases across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Project managers, our content QA, localization teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate all activities related to product releases within the organization. Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets, as well as meeting customer and contractual commitments.
  • Working with project managers to keep content release forecasts and projections up to date in Salesforce, keeping all stakeholders informed of these time requirements.
  • Maintaining existing reporting Apps in Salesforce and focusing on creating new reports to enhance processes.
  • Ensuring content quality complies with standards and platform-specific guidelines before release. Addressing and resolving any technical issues related to content release alongside IT and development teams.
  • Acting on final publishing of courses to Percipio and processing and releasing suitable content types for Skillsoft legacy systems and platforms.
  • Monitoring and reporting on content post-release, providing statistical analysis for future content strategies.
  • Staying abreast of industry standards, platform updates, and best practices to continuously enhance content release procedures.
  • Establishing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate content QA & Release standards and guidelines on Confluence.
  • Informing Hosting, Cloud Ops, and internal developers of necessary details regarding any new content variations or developments that may necessitate release system modifications.
  • Coordinating with content development teams to ensure all course entries are in backend systems before submission for QA & Release.
  • Collaborating with the Post Production Maintenance team to ensure timely release of all customer and internal content Post-Production Maintenance (PPM) items as per defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Working with legal and compliance teams to ensure all content adheres to regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in content release management or a similar capacity.
  • Solid understanding of content management systems (CMS) and digital distribution platforms.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital media formats, encoding, and content delivery networks is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools and the capacity to interpret data for formulating content strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to analyze data-related challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently on research and development initiatives.
  • Fluency in English.
