Location: Hybrid (2 days in Office, in Leopardstown, Dublin 18)

About The Role:
MarketStar is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative to represent their renowned client, MailChimp, a leading business marketing tool. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in cutting-edge technology and be part of a successful and rapidly growing sales initiative at MarketStar.
As the initial point of contact, you will be instrumental in enhancing MailChimp's brand, delivering exceptional first impressions, and paving the way for new business opportunities.
Furthermore, as you progress in your role, MarketStar assures ample prospects for professional growth within the organization, fostering your long-term success.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create sales-qualified opportunities by engaging prospects and demonstrating how MailChimp can revolutionize their businesses.
- Identify opportunities independently and from qualified lead databases.
- Assess and transfer sales-ready prospects to Account Executives.
- Establish enduring and mutually beneficial relationships with Mailchimp stakeholders.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
- Connect with potential customers via phone, email & LinkedIn.
- Attain set sales targets and objectives.
- Advocate for the client's products and services, cultivating interest and understanding of the client's value proposition.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of clients' offerings and maintain up-to-date product awareness.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English.
- Passionate about a sales career.
- Preferably 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
- Confident with the ability to establish trust quickly, exhibiting strong soft skills for immediate impact.
- Exceptional listening skills with the capacity to synthesize information effectively.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Keen attention to detail and follow-up.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Eager to enhance skills, actively seeking guidance and coaching from colleagues and supervisors.
- Highly collaborative and organized.
- Deadline-oriented.
