Contract: Permanent

Salary: Very competitive basic salary. Uncapped commission structure available in this role. OTE over €90K plus + company car)

Location: County Dublin/ Greater Leinster Area. Field based.

Due to expansion and growth within the team, we have a new opportunity for a Key Account Manager who would like to advance their career quickly within our successful sales team. You will be responsible for building, managing, and developing our key existing customers and identifying new business for Hyster Forklift Trucks and other Material Handling equipment.

In the role you will be:

  • Managing key accounts ensuring successful building, growth and maintaining strong commercial relationships with existing and new business partners.
  • Building strong relationships with direct team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders through collaboration across departments.
  • Developing a successful sales plan for existing customers and prospective customers alike to achieve annual sales targets in terms of revenue, profit, and units.
  • Identifying and pursuing close competitive strategic sales opportunities.
  • Building external relationships with key people within customer and prospected organisations to enable long-term partnerships to be developed.
  • Interfacing with sales management and service teams to deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Recording and managing all relevant information from your accounts, including new opportunities in our CRM.
  • Gathering and analysing relevant market data to identify emerging commercial opportunities and trends within prospective accounts / market sector.

What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Extensive experience working in a sales/business development role with KAM experience
  • MHE industry/capital equipment or similar market sales experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Substantial experience in building complex tenders and analysing complex data
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of Salesforce an advantage.
  • Full driving licence essential
