The Chief Operating Officer for Ireland will support the Country Director in executing the strategy, coordinating management teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with the Country Head to set and execute Ireland's strategy.
  • Oversee operational functions including Outsourcing, Business Resilience, and new product reviews.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk on regulatory efforts.
  • Drive efficient operations across EMEA e-money and crypto.
  • Develop insights to support decision-making.
  • Stay informed on market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams for product growth.

What we look for in you:

  • Experience in regulated financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of financial services and regulations in Europe.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote-first setup.
  • Capability to solve complex problems and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Interest in crypto/blockchain and willingness to learn.
  • Self-driven, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented.
  • Comfortable meeting Central Bank standards.

Nice to haves:

  • Previous experience in a multinational or US-based business.
  • Experience in retail-oriented payments, trading, or brokerage.
  • Interest in the crypto/blockchain space.
