Dublin, Dublin City, Ireland Hilti Corporation Full time
What's the role?
What an exciting time at Hilti Ireland We have experienced exponential growth and success, celebrating extensive promotions, the introduction of awesome innovation and the recognition of being #12 ranking on world's best workplace list for 2023

We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Sales Account Manager for our IF team covering Dublin, Kildare and Meath regions.

In this role, you will spend most of your time visiting our customers, wherever they're busy working, to find out how we can help them and demonstrating our Hilti solutions.

You will find yourself in different contexts:
construction sites, company offices, production plants & much more.

At your customers site, you will not only demonstrate some of the most innovative products in the industry, but also market state-of-the-art software solutions such as ONTrack as well as all our services that are part of the Hilti portfolio.

You are responsible for the operational and strategic management of your sales area.

You plan and organize your day-to-day work independently; therefore you need to be comfortable with building relationships remotely and motivating yourself.

The role is all about nurturing and fostering relationships, developing contacts on site with customers and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.

You'll be part of a supportive, field-based regional team who are only a phone call away.

We don't expect you to be a construction or account management expert. For us, it's about the right person; the right person is passionate, curious, dedicated and a team player – our training will cover the rest

What does the role involve?

The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies to build long term, sustainable and profitable relationships with the customer.

The role involves professional field sales and high level customer consultation in the defined territory within the target industry.

The job holder needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the Hilti brand in the market place.

At Hilti, we work a little differently, this is not a typical account management role. We have a direct sales model which allows us to ensure a high-level customer interaction at every encounter.

We love our customers The Account Management role is strategic account development focused, partnering with existing customers providing solutions to optimise their current product basket.

This is no ordinary sales or business development manager job; we don't believe in a hard sell because our strong core values allow us to focus purely on building long-term sustainable relationships with our customers.

We partner with our customers to understand their business needs and how our products can add value.

The Account Management role is very autonomous, your red Hilti vehicle will be your office and you will plan, organise and prioritise your time to ensure effectiveness within your territory.

Hilti will put their trust in you, giving you plenty of responsibility, and freedom to grow and develop.
