Opportunity for Business Development Manager with company based in Dublin working to support large scale digitally enabled energy projects in Ireland and UK.

The ideal candidate will have excellent Project Management, Client Management and Communication, Project Finance, Public planning knowledge, and Energy Industry experience.

Additional knowledge of Grid Infrastructure, Planning Systems Processes, Consultant Management, technical knowledge of Data Centre Operations and advanced skill proficiency in Python and Excel would be advantageous.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and assess new opportunities across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, with a focus on Data Centre development.
  • Process Development: Establish and refine processes and procedures for the development of new Data Centre opportunities.
  • Consultant Management: Oversee and manage external consultants involved in project development.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and develop less experienced staff members on development procedures and industry standards.
  • Market Engagement: Actively engage with market participants to stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Planning Coordination: Collaborate with planning departments to prepare and submit planning applications.
  • Renewable Energy Integration: Explore and develop opportunities to integrate projects with renewable energy initiatives.
