The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the
Operations Manager
will own the smooth running of Financefair's day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless fund management, portfolio health monitoring and payment processing.
You will lead a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive operational efficiency and innovation in a fast-paced fintech environment, with direct access to senior leadership and influence over process optimisation and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the processing, allocation, and approval of deals, payments, and funding requests, ensuring adherence to relevant internal approval procedures.

Oversee daily cash, liquidity management (including managing FX requirements).
Oversee portfolio monitoring and KPI checks, ensuring proactive risk management.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in line with operational best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Credit, Business Development, and senior leadership on strategic projects.
Partner with Technology to launch and refine platforms, tools, and automation workflows.
The Ideal Candidate
:
3rd level degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in operations management within financial services or fintech.
Proven track record in managing operational workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time management, organisational, and decision-making skills.
Strong commercial acumen, highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate across departments, particularly with Technology, Business Development, and Credit teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with automation tools is a distinct advantage.
A keen interest in innovation and technology with an ability to question and improve process.
Relevant certifications (e.g., QFA, ACCA) desirable.
