Role Purpose An Post Mobile, the mobile phone brand from An Post, available in post offices and /mobile, are seeking a commercially astute and customer-obsessed leader to own and evolve our mobile product and proposition strategy.
In this senior role, you'll drive innovation, differentiation, and growth across our mobile portfolio delivering compelling offerings that drive acquisition, deepen customer engagement, enhance brand perception, and deliver sustained commercial value.
Youll collaborate cross-functionally with technology, marketing, commercial, customer experience, and digital teams to ensure our mobile portfolio is competitive, differentiated, and aligned with customer needs and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities: The principal responsibilities associated with the role include, but are not limited to the following: Product Strategy & Proposition Development: Define and evolve the end-to-end mobile product roadmap and proposition strategy, aligning with customer insights, market dynamics, and strategic goals.
Identify growth opportunities across acquisition, retention, and ARPU, supported by robust commercial and financial analysis.
Design & Delivery: Oversee design and build of mobile services, plans, bundles, and platform enhancements in collaboration with Technology, UX, and Operations.
Ensure timely, scalable delivery through rigorous programme governance and cross-functional coordination.
Go-to-Market & Commercialisation: Lead (cross-functional) go-to-market planning including pricing, positioning, channel mix, and communications strategy.
Collaborate with Digital, Commercial, and Marketing teams to maximise uptake, usage, and customer satisfaction.
Performance Management & Optimisation: Own performance metrics and KPIs across portfolio.
Use data, customer feedback, and market intelligence to continuously refine propositions and pricing.
Market & Competitor Insight: Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity to proactively adapt and future-proof the mobile portfolio.
Champion innovation by exploring new technologies and customer propositions.
Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and develop a high-performing team of product and proposition professionals.
Influence senior stakeholders and shape broader commercial and CX priorities across the organisation.
Values & Behaviours: Demonstrate An Post values and behaviours in your day-to-day work and address behaviour that supports/conflicts with them What Were Looking For The successful candidate will have 8+ years experience in product or proposition leadership within mobile, telecoms, or technology sectors.
A proven track record of delivering end-to-end propositions from concept to launch with demonstrable commercial impact.
A very strong understanding of mobile technologies, pricing dynamics, and customer behaviours.
Experience in managing OEM relationships, supply negotiations, and commercial agreements.
Strong P&L ownership and experience building robust financial business cases.
A digital-first mindset with experience optimising customer journeys across digital channels.

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
Highly data-literate with a pragmatic, insight-driven approach to decision-making.
