We are now seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee and scale up operations in a highly technical, low-volume, and high-complexity environment.

You'll coordinate resource planning, operational delivery, and continuous improvement, while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and technical teams to ensure operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include: Full line management of a growing production team (up to 100 headcount) Ownership of daily operations, resource planning, and workflow coordination Implementation of KPIs and performance management across the function Cultivating a best-in-class Health & Safety culture Driving continuous improvement through LEAN, 5 S, and other methodologies Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of team leads and operators Contributing to wider strategic decision-making as the business scales What You'll Need: Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline Previous experience managing large teams in a fast-paced production environment Proven leadership in complex or high-growth manufacturing settings Strong knowledge of LEAN principles, 5 S and CI tools Track record of embedding safety-first cultures and improving operational performance Experience with low-volume, high-precision production (preferred, not essential) Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Ruairi Mc Cann, Recruitment Manager at Vickerstock on.
