My Client is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join an established Payroll Department. The Payroll Supervisor will report to the Payroll and HR Administration Manager and join a team of 10 HR colleagues in the wider HR & Payroll department. Opportunities to work with a great team on some of Ireland's largest and most exciting construction and civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise & complete the accurate and efficient end to end processing of payroll across assigned UK and Irish entities including all leave, processing of all payroll related information & ensuring the correct approval process has been adhered to in line with company policies.
  2. Manage the calculations of PAYE, PRSI, USC and Pensions and all other statutory and voluntary deductions and completion of all payroll changes.
  3. Responsible for all Revenue Real Time Payroll Reporting requirements and ensuring deadlines are met.
  4. Completion of all social welfare, loss of earnings and other forms required by employees whilst ensuring that all payroll records are filed correctly and deal with internal / external auditors as required.
  5. Monitoring & implementing revenue and legislative updates relevant to payroll.
  6. Preparation of monthly third-party payments and files e.g., Pension, Healthcare, Union and month end reconciliations and payroll journals required by the business.
  7. Ensure policies and procedures around payroll and areas within HR Administration are well documented, understood and adhered to.
  8. Work closely with HR, Commercial & Finance departments on all payroll and tax related operations and reporting for management and statutory purposes.
  9. Liaising with wider HR department in relation to employee information for new hires, exits and amendments that require processing through local HRIS and payroll systems.

Ideal candidate:

  1. Proven and extensive experience working in a fast-paced payroll department.
  2. IPASS qualification desirable.
  3. Coins experience a distinct advantage.
  4. SAP experience a distinct advantage.
  5. Highly proficient in Microsoft Packages and data entry, with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  6. Experience of working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders as relevant to this role.
  7. Numeracy skills with particular attention to detail and the ability to analyse and evaluate information.
