eir evo talent are seeking applications fora Desktop Support Engineer, this is a permanent position located in Central Dublin, the role is 5 days a week onsite.

Requirements:

  • Qualified with an IT Degree or equivalent (Mandatory)
  • 3 -5 years in an IT client facing role or Deskside Support
  • A good understanding of PC hardware and Windows operating systems.
  • Track record in managing small to medium sized projects.
  • The applicant should have a demonstrated capability to automate administrative tasks.
  • Ensure proper tracking of equipment and software.
  • Ensure all incidents are properly logged and updated with sufficient detail for escalation.
  • Receive, log, distribute and follow up on all incidents escalated within IT. Troubleshoot these calls to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Rollout new laptops and desktops to replace older equipment and maintain the quality of the current PC fleet.
  • Document or update processes with the aim of optimising the service provided.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware including laptops, desktops and mobile phones.
  • Administration and support of the Mobile, Telephone and Voicemail Systems.
  • Support and maintain existing voice and data structured cabling.
  • Administration and support of the mobile device fleet (iPhones and iPads).
