Would you like to join the team in Anglers Rest, we are looking for a Junior Sous Chef. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment. We have an amazing Head Chef with a wealth of experience who is looking forward to guide & train the team. This is a very busy restaurant that serves great fresh food. Our kitchen is a professional environment and we cook everything from fresh. Role involves assisting and directing, preparing and presenting our menu to the established standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist our chefs with the overall running of the kitchen
  • Monitor HACCP procedures and hygiene standards
  • Maintain a high quality of our menu and its presentation
  • Be efficient and have a proven ability to work under pressure
Requirements
  • 1+ year experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen environment
  • Both food hygiene and HACCP knowledge are essential; further training will be provided
  • Permanent resident in Ireland and have a valid work permit
