Job Description

The Assistant Contract Administrator supports contract administration during construction and early operational phases. Responsibilities include managing contracts, maintaining manuals, organizing files, facilitating communication, assisting with financial processes, and supporting the implementation of contract systems like CEMAR. Key tasks involve preparing contracts, managing changes and claims, coordinating meetings, tracking costs and risks, and reporting issues.

Experience

  • 1 to 5 years' experience in contract administration, preferably in high-value metro rail or similar projects.
  • Experience supporting commercial agreements and understanding of contract risks.
  • Technical experience in processes, policies, and standards.
  • Stakeholder management experience across organizational levels.

Skills

  • Support contractor relationships and technical output management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of project design and delivery in construction sectors.
  • Knowledge of quality management practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 8 degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement, quantity surveying, business, or related field.
  • MSc or related discipline preferred.
  • Knowledge of NEC and Public Works Contracts.
