Operations Manager

A growing metal fabrication and manufacturing business based in Tullamore, Co. Offaly is seeking an Operations Manager to join the team. This is a brand-new position offering excellent scope for progression as the business continues to expand.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will:

  • Oversee day-to-day production and fabrication operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the production team to achieve performance targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, quality, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with senior management to implement strategic growth plans.
  • Manage scheduling, resources, and workflow to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are maintained in the workshop.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (metal fabrication desirable).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and planning abilities.
