Job Title: Reservations Agent (Maternity Contract)
Department: Reservations
Location: Hyatt Centric Dublin
Reports To: Reservations Manager
The Reservations Agent plays a vital role in managing daily reservation operations, ensuring accurate guest bookings, and facilitating effective communication between booking platforms, internal teams, and guests. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills to help streamline arrivals, departures, and guest inquiries across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to questions received via our booking platforms
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls for reservations room enquiries
- Dealing with incoming e-mail queries from new and existing clients
- Taking reservations accurately and in a helpful, friendly manner
- Responding to all email reservations, conference and events enquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Answering telephone calls promptly using proper telephone etiquette
- Previous experience in hotel reservations preferred or administration role.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS system preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in email handling and customer service communication.
