Role Profile

We have an exciting opportunity for a 3PL Inventory Manager based in our collaborative hub in Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny. The manager reports to the Fulfilment and Warehousing Manager and is responsible for maximizing the efficiency of third-party warehouses. This role serves as the primary contact between warehouses and the business, focusing on strategic product placement, cost monitoring, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee periodic stock reconciliations with warehouses, aligned with business requirements and documented processes.
  • Manage the monthly financial performance of warehouse activities.
  • Own and manage the complaints process, including review, acceptance, corrective actions, and timelines.
  • Chair performance review meetings with warehouses.
  • Develop and implement warehouse strategies with the Fulfilment and Warehousing team.
  • Support the Monthly S&OP forecast review process.
  • Promote and embed the COVID culture within Warehousing and across Logistics and Planning.
  • Use network analysis to measure and improve KPIs.
  • Collaborate with another 3PL Inventory Manager to develop processes and SOPs, including holiday cover.
  • Support broader programs of work and monitor overall strategy and ambitions.
  • Implement GPS tools and enhance services through the 3M process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong skills in logistics IT systems and innovation.
  • Analytical, structured problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives successfully.
  • Effective stakeholder communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
