Inventory Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an Inventory Optimization Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our supply chain management, you will be responsible for maximizing efficiency in our third-party warehouses.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our business operations. You will work closely with our Fulfilment and Warehousing Manager to develop and implement warehouse strategies that drive performance and improve customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate stock reconciliations with each warehouse, aligning with business requirements and documented processes;
  • Owning and understanding the monthly financial performance of all warehouse activity;
  • Developing and implementing corrective actions and procedures for complaints;
  • Chairing periodic performance reviews with each warehouse;
  • Driving development of the Monthly S&OP forecast review;
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the warehousing team and beyond;
  • Using data analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize KPIs;
  • Collaborating with other inventory specialists to share best practices and standardize processes;
  • Supporting broader programs of work to monitor overall functions strategy and ambition;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent qualification;
  • At least 5 years' experience in logistics and supply chain management;
  • A strong analytical mindset and ability to problem-solve structuredly;
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills;
  • Ability to control multiple initiatives under a program of work;
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP process;
  • Organized and methodical approach with attention to detail;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
