Head of HR Services/Qualified Workplace Mediator

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a more dynamic, flexible, and meaningful career in HR consultancy? If you thrive on variety, solving complex people challenges, and working closely with organisations to deliver real impact, Insight HR wants to hear from you.

This is a Remote role, although the ideal candidate will be Leinster based.

Insight HR is a progressive HR consultancy that provides expert, hands-on HR support to businesses across Ireland. Whether it's resolving conflict through investigations, delivering compliant and pragmatic HR advice, or stepping in as an outsourced HR partner, we provide critical HR support when clients need it most. Our approach is never one-size-fits-all. We build HR solutions from the ground up, tailored to each client's sector, size, and specific challenges. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a confident, capable HR Consultant to join our growing remote team. You'll act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting everything from complex ER cases and policy development to strategic workforce planning, HR audits, and on-call advisory support. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, answering calls and resolving queries. You'll be supported by a close-knit team of consultants but will also be expected to work independently, managing your own client workload and bringing insight and calm to often sensitive or high-pressure HR scenarios.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 3 years' experience in HR generalist, advisor, or business partner roles. You should have a strong working knowledge of Irish employment law, a high standard of written and verbal communication, and the ability to juggle multiple client needs with confidence. A calm, solutions-focused mindset is key. You'll need to be a self-starter who is comfortable working remotely, and able to travel occasionally to client sites. We are looking for Leinster based applicants for this role. A full clean driving license is required.

In return, we offer true flexibility by offering remote work, and the chance to do varied and meaningful work in a supportive team environment. At Insight HR, we believe in building great workplaces for our clients — and that starts with creating a great one for our team. We are looking for someone who can start immediately or within a month of the role being offered.

If you're an experienced HR professional ready to take the next step into consultancy, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your CV to jthompson@insighthr.ie.
