About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead their sales strategy, drive business development, and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients. This role is pivotal in generating leads, building a strong pipeline, and increasing conversions within the financial and insurance markets. The Sales Director will report directly to senior leadership and work closely with Account Directors and regional teams to ensure business growth and market penetration. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a national sales strategy to enhance lead generation and pipeline development. Drive cross-sell initiatives, capitalizing on existing client bases and re-engaging lapsed clients. Cultivate new business opportunities by leveraging referrals, networking events, and targeted marketing campaigns. Work alongside Account Directors to ensure seamless client transitions and business negotiations. Oversee high-value client engagements, ensuring every client over a specified threshold receives periodic reviews. Maintain an informed position on all major sales and risk placement activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Collaborate with marketing teams on region-specific projects, including professional industry initiatives and corporate partnerships. Represent the company at key networking events and industry engagements to expand brand presence and business opportunities. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a senior sales role within the financial services or insurance sector. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor sales teams. Track record of developing successful sales pipelines and achieving business growth. Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills. Ability to navigate a soft market by optimizing existing lead generation strategies. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A strategic mindset with a data-driven approach to sales and client acquisition. Year 1 Focus: Build a robust pipeline and lead generation strategy. Leverage cross-sell opportunities and referrals to maximize revenue. Develop and execute a structured outreach program targeting identified business leads. Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners. Enhance brand positioning through targeted marketing and networking initiatives.
