My client is in Public Sector. They are r esponsible for promoting compliance with, and enforcing protection law in Ireland and strive to improve welfare across the economy by enforcing over 40 legislative instruments, including product safety legislation. They work to influence public debate and policy development, grow public understanding of the importance of open and competitive markets, promote competition and highlight the interests and provide information about their rights, personal finance and product safety, through a helpline, a dedicated section of website, public awareness campaigns and through our various financial education initiatives.

They are currently seeking an efficient and friendly HR Executive who will be supporting all necessary HR and administration related tasks. This is a temporary role.

Key Responsibilities

Administration

· Monitor and maintain multiple shared email inboxes and act as the first point of contact for HR related queries – research and resolve problems

· Ensure relevant HR databases are up-to-date, accurate and complies with legislation

· Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner

· Assist the HR team with the development and maintenance of HR policies and processes

· Contribute to HR projects, including the preparation of documents

· Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and queries

· Raise Purchase Orders, process invoices and update budget management systems as appropriate

· Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external

· Co-ordinate and support the recruitment life cycle

· Administer HR related documentation, such as employment contracts

· Arrange staff inductions

· Contribute to policy development in line with best practice

· Carry out all other duties as required and participate as a full member of the Human Resources Team by supporting different work projects, as required, from time to time.

Essential

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate and through their application show evidence of:

· A minimum of one years’ experience in a HR support/administrative role

· Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, data protection, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

· The successful candidate will also be proficient at MS Office.

Desirable:

· Relevant degree or post graduate qualification in HR, L&D or Business Administration

· CIPD membership

· An understanding of Public Sector HR, pay and pensions rules and regulations
