Ensure that all sales are accurately recorded and establish a robust system to identify issues. Prepare a daily sales KPI report for distribution to individual departments and track sales using various hotel computer information systems. Manage the cash and banking functions of the hotel by maintaining the daily income audit, monitoring cash-handling procedures throughout the property, and providing training as needed. Oversee petty cash management and ensured appropriate cash levels were maintained in the hotel. Accounts Receivable: Ensure that the processes for recording, invoicing, and following up on payments are effective. Regularly track and monitor the propertys debtors. Accounts Payable: Maintain the hotels purchasing system, reconcile creditor statements, and address supplier inquiries. Safeguard the hotels assets, with a particular focus on maintaining strong internal control systems. What Youll Need We are looking for an ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication, organisational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality, food & beverage environment or within the retail sector. The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
