We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Public Sector team to support our clients across the Public & Semi State Sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional looking to step into a Talent Acquisition opportunity where they will lead and support our clients throughout the full recruitment process with a particular focus on the interview stage, ensuring best practice throughout. You will be partnered with our clients to ensure that their recruitment processes are conducted aligning to the CSPA Code of Practice where applicable.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders. As client engagement is at the forefront of what we do, you will work very closely with our clients and their interview panels, attending client meetings, shortlisting meetings and participate in interviews when required providing support and guidance.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with senior leadership in order to deliver an excellent service to our clients. This role is focused on supporting and partnering with our public sector and semi state clients providing them with best practice approach to their hiring needs. Our clients are based across the Dublin region particularly across the Dublin City Centre and therefore the successful candidate will need to be able to travel to these locations based on clients’ needs for interviews and or client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with our client stakeholders and act the main point of contact for certain client accounts.
- Managing public sector competitions in line with the CPSA Code of Practice where required.
- Working collaboratively with internal Cpl teams and client’s teams to define hiring needs and timelines.
- Partnering with our IT & Marketing team internally in Cpl to build and improve on the recruitment process and services for our clients.
- Ensure a positive candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Attend regular client meetings, providing clients with progress updates.
- Have a deep understanding of our client’s employee value proposition and develop a go to market narrative to attract talent.
- Proactively engage talent and continually build on talent pools to meet our clients’ current and future hiring needs.
- Review, screen and assess candidates when required in order to ensure that they are meeting the client requirements.
- Working on site with our clients when required, sitting as part of the interview panel or acting as a Chairperson where required, contributing, guiding and supporting the interview board on hiring decisions.
- Responsibility for the end to end competition management including the advertisement, shortlisting, interview and offer management stages.
- Provide our clients with expert advice in relation to recruitment best practices.

Requirements for this role

- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience working within recruitment/ talent acquisition
- An understanding of CPSA recruitment guidelines
- Experience conducting competency interviews as part of an interview panel is desirable
- Proven track record of hiring candidates across multiple disciplines at all levels
- Passionate about the talent industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of meeting SLA’s & KPI’s
- Demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage and connect with people
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional level of administrative skills and attention to detail
- High proficiency in use of Microsoft Teams or other video conferencing systems as interviewing will be carried out remotely.
- Willingness to travel to other sites to host interviews as per Client requirements.
