Administrative Assistant
Our client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a 35 hour per week contract until 30/4/25.
This post will support specific projects within the Access Centre which aim to enhance student engagement with the service. Responsibilities include marketing/social media, design, event management, accurate data management, analysis and reporting. The immediate priority will be to support activities and events for Traveller Ethnicity Day, Professional Engagement Module celebration and recruitment for Access Programmes.
Skills required:
· A minimum of two years employment experience which demonstrates a high level of administrative support in a demanding office environment.
· Marketing and event management experience
· Proficiency in the use of social media and graphic design tools.
· Previous experience in a student or customer facing role
· Excellent planning and organisational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good numeracy skills, and ability to analyse data.
· Flexibility and problem solving ability
· Excellent IT skills with proficiency in M/S Office applications.
3 Main Responsibilities.
· Support with the development of promotional materials for the Access Centre and disseminate these at events.
· Support with the development of digital content for use on social media channels and lead the centre’s activities on these channels.
· Support with the project management and delivery of events delivered by and in collaboration with the Access Centre
