What will my day to day look like?
- Reporting to the Director of client services, you will work to find new opportunities in our client base and new clients in Ireland and the UK
- Developing a pipeline of opportunities to nurture and stay in touch with, building relationships with them
- Turning these prospects into clients by understanding their requirements and businesses
- Working on our CRM BULLHORN on Pipeline management and lead management
- Researching and discovery of potential new clients we have not yet identified using LinkedIn, our database of contacts, internet e-zines, and business segments for discovery phase to find potential new clients
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure we are all working as a collective to achieve companywide goals.
- Understanding the consultants' capabilities to identify good new clients that suit them
Sounds good, what do I need?
- Degree qualified with 2+ years’ experience in a Business Development role with a desire to move into consultative sales – this is more than just pitching a product – each sale is unique
- Experience in a structured approach to business development, market mapping, qualifying leads, understanding drivers and buyer behaviour etc.
- Proven ability to create and foster relationships
- Fluent English to native standard and a valid working visa
- Consultative mindset and ability to understand complex business requirements
- Tenacity and resilience for business development
- Good personality and rapport building skills
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
The base salary for this role is between €33,000 - €40,000, depending on experience. However, commission is uncapped and there is an additional bonus/commission scheme in place when you reach or exceed your yearly target.
