Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised IT Co-Ordinator to support the IT team in the day-to-day operation of the IT function. This role is well-suited for someone with a strong background in IT, who enjoys managing processes, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ability to carry out low-level technical troubleshooting and provide end-user support will be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

- Co-ordinate and track IT service requests and escalations with our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Maintain IT documentation, including policies, procedures, change requests, incident reports, asset registers, and software licensing.
- Support and track the procurement of IT equipment and software, including vendor liaison, order co-ordination, and asset/license tracking.
- Manage software licensing, renewals, and compliance tracking.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes such as account setup, hardware allocation, and return.
- Gather feedback from users and identify recurring issues for improvement.
- Act as a point of contact for IT-related queries and escalate appropriately internally or with the MSP.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive suite of system documentation.

Requirements

- Strong foundational IT knowledge.
- Previous experience in an IT support and coordination role.
- Experience working with or alongside an MSP (advantageous).
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and terminology.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Comfortable working with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
