We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong client relationships, winning new business, and growing sales of market-leading products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: You will serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent service, proactive communication, and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Business Growth: You will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across our full portfolio, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Solution Selling: You will understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and clearly articulate the value of our products and services.
- Relationship Development: You will build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through regular meetings, site visits, and ongoing support.
- Commercial Awareness: You will maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, competitor activity, and emerging trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with internal operations and technical teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, projects are delivered on time, and customers receive seamless service.
- Tender Management: You will tender and RFP applications from preparation through to submission and follow-up.
- Customer Engagement: You will represent us at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions to strengthen relationships and promote our premium brands.
Requirements:
- You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in business development or sales, ideally within automotive, fleet, or vehicle conversion sectors.
- You must have a proven track record in winning and growing commercial accounts.
- You must have experience managing tenders and RFPs.
- Familiarity with LCV conversions, body builds, or shelving systems is advantageous.
- You must have strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- You must have excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building abilities.
- You must be commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
- You must have proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A full, valid driving licence is required.
