Job Title

Supervise and coordinate the food and beverage service team to ensure efficient and professional operations.

  • Implement consistent delivery of superior customer service by developing and enforcing SOPs.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all aspects of the department, ensuring excellent customer and team member experience.
  • Act on customer feedback to continuously improve the customer experience, including complaints and compliments.
  • Monitor payroll costs and compile rotas in line with forecasted business levels to optimize performance.
  • Control operating costs and supervise the department to maintain company brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, Disability, and employment legislation.
  • Maximize opportunities for departmental sales and profit through strategic promotions and upselling.
  • Train and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and exceed budget expectations.
  • Stay knowledgeable about all food and beverage menus and collaborate effectively with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a supervisor in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
