Business Development Manager Role

As a key contributor to our organisation's success, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to retain and grow existing customers, identifying and pursuing revenue opportunities with new customers, and exceeding sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-centric mindset and strong communication skills, enabling them to build trust-based relationships with key customers and prospects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Retention and Growth: Develop and execute regional strategies to retain and expand revenue with current, new, and at-risk customers by analysing data and understanding customer needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects through consistent engagement, prompt issue resolution, and regular communication.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement: Partner with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives informed by customer feedback that improve ease of doing business, enhance loyalty, and drive continuous experience improvements.
  • New Customer Acquisition: Analyse regional markets and competitive landscapes to identify and pursue new opportunities, then execute tailored sales strategies to attract and convert customers across service offerings.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Leverage CRM software to manage leads, track customer interactions, ensure data accuracy, and generate reports that provide insight into pipeline health, performance metrics, and market opportunities.
