Accounts Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Technician to contribute to our successful Accountancy practice. This is a permanent position, offering competitive remuneration and flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive management accounts across various sectors.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, liaising with HMRC as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients through regular communication and information gathering.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an Accountancy environment.
  • Ideal relevant accounting qualification or certification.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients.
