Job Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time permanent Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Co-Op Superstores in Parteen, Co. Clare.

About the Role
  • Deliver best-in-class service to customers, providing expert advice on products and resolving queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Restock display areas regularly to ensure product availability and maintain store presentation and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage point-of-sale processes, including cash, card, and credit transactions, while adhering to policies and procedures for security.
  • Participate in regular stocktaking, including daily cycle counting and stock counts, and demonstrate flexibility across various departments.
  • Product coding, pricing, and updating prices on goods for resale, as well as adherence to all Society policies and procedures, Health and Safety procedures, and reporting of hazards to Branch Management.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
  • Experience within the Agri sector or related fields would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong customer focus.
