
Senior Accounts Receivable and Payables Administrator

The Accounts Payable Specialist role is a key position in our organization, responsible for managing the financial processes related to supplier invoices and payments.
This permanent full-time role is based in Navan, Ireland. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising Purchase Orders where necessary
- Accurately processing supplier invoices, maintaining a strong focus on detail and deadlines
- Liaising with various departments for invoice approvals
- Matching and coding invoices
- Preparing monthly and ad-hoc payment runs
- Reconciling accounts on a regular basis, proactively investigating and resolving any discrepancies
- Providing critical support during month-end close activities and assisting with the annual audit process
- Preparing monthly reports on key areas within accounts payable
- Assisting with the setup of new suppliers
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in an accounts payable role
- Experience in construction, engineering or manufacturing industries is desirable
- Experience using ERP systems
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work well on your own initiative and with others
- Fluent written and spoken English
