Job Title: Regional Transformation Expert

The Transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region 2026+ project is seeking experts to support its core team in implementing regional transformation strategies. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in shaping the region's economic future and promoting sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Conduct a study on the Karlovy Vary region's economic opportunities and challenges for transitioning to a green economy and energy system.
  • Develop and implement effective regional transformation strategies to drive sustainable growth and improve the region's economic competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with public institutions, industry associations, and international donors to leverage resources and expertise.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions to address the region's industrial policy and clean technology deployment needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\
  • At least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering; Industrial Economics or Innovation Management; Environmental or Energy Policy.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (CEFR C1) is required.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in regional industrial policy or clean technology deployment.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing regional transformation strategies.
