The role of an Automotive Technician involves diagnosing and repairing faults in vehicles, ensuring they are returned to their optimal condition.
A key part of the job is to work with customers, providing them with technical support and advice on how to resolve vehicle issues. This requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.
As an Automotive Technician, you will be working closely with a team to ensure that all vehicles are repaired efficiently and effectively. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of repairs and communicate with colleagues and management as necessary.
Requirements:- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle/PSV engineering or experience in a similar field.
- Proven mechanical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex faults and work effectively under pressure.
- Competitive hourly rate.
- Overtime rates of up to 2x hourly rate.
