Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead quality assurance efforts for product transfers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance in quality assurance, control, and preventive practices.
  • Develop and implement quality strategies using a risk-based approach, particularly around First Article Inspections (FAIs), inspection certifications, and related quality tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Transfer teams, business functions, divisional and site QA, and suppliers to ensure robust quality performance of products and processes.
  • Lead and contribute to the development and optimization of internal processes for existing products undergoing transfer.
  • Assess and support internal and supplier-driven change management activities to ensure compliance and quality continuity.
  • Participate in and potentially lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product and process quality.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and industry standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and mentor others in planning, executing, and documenting deliverables required for product transfers, ensuring alignment with corporate processes, quality standards, and cost/time objectives.
  • Mentor suppliers in the application of quality standards and statistical techniques, particularly for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
  • Oversee PPAP activities and other Product transfer quality deliverables.
  • Review and approve validation and qualification documentation to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to drive quality excellence and ensure smooth product transfers.
