Job Title: Engineering Liaison Librarian

The role of the Engineering Liaison Librarian is to provide tailored support to the Faculty of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with academic staff and learners to meet their information needs.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on information literacy and digital skills.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to develop course materials and assessments.
  • Provide research support to students and faculty members.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an academic library environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

  • Location: Carlow campus.
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
  • Flexible approach required due to nature of role.
