Job Description:

Samsic Facility seeks a diligent Payroll Administrator to support the fortnightly payroll function and all associated tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all staff records from new employee setup to acceptance into payroll and time-attendance systems. They will issue staff letters, complete social welfare forms related to payroll, and process fortnightly payroll payments to bank, adhering to strict deadlines.

This role requires dealing with payroll queries regarding hours or tax from Operations staff and supervisors over the phone and via email. Additionally, the candidate will perform budget checks on wages hours paid against charge-out budgets to clients, update contract budgets in the system, and maintain an organized filing system for payroll records.

The Payroll Administrator will also assist the Office/Payroll Manager with day-to-day office activities and carry out other administrative duties as required. A full understanding of GDPR is necessary, and training will be provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Leaving Certificate Education Level)
  • Excellent written, reading, and oral English skills
  • Advanced Microsoft packages skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook
  • IPASS qualification preferable
