Chief Recovery Strategist

As a Lead Financial Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of recovery and resolution plans to prepare and respond to financial distress. This involves assessing the financial viability of distressed entities and advising on potential resolution strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate potential resolution strategies for distressed entities, analyzing financial implications and potential impacts.
- Maintain and update recovery and resolution plans for business units and entities, ensuring continuity of essential services.
- Analyze financial data to assess viability of distressed entities, evaluating financial strength, capital position, and liquidity risks.
- Oversee the organization's Financial Crisis Management Framework and maintain the Group Recovery Plan.
- Ensure appropriate controls, governance, and assurance processes are in place to meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage a team, contributing to strategic initiatives and influencing policy and procedures.
- Lead a large team or sub-function, embedding a performance culture and coaching less experienced staff.
- Provide expert advice to senior management and committees to influence decisions.
- Manage resources, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function.
- Ensure compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of function integration with business and industry practices.
