Join a dynamic team as an Investment Operations Specialist and contribute to the successful completion of daily reconciliations for Syndicated and Private Debt Loans. You will provide support to various departments while adhering to established policies and procedures.

About the Role:
  • Supervise operational aspects of the Investment Operations Team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Utilize reconciliation systems to reconcile activity daily, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank debt transactions against broker cash statements using Geneva Fund Accounting system.
  • Investigate cash reconciliation breaks with internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Review and process Bank Debt related activities using WSO Markit and Geneva Fund Accounting system, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complete and review Security Price Tolerance Checking for all Alternative Funds within the Geneva Fund Accounting system.
  • Maintain security master information on Geneva Fund Accounting system, ensuring up-to-date and accurate data.
  • Communicate and coordinate information between investment managers, agent banks, and accounting teams, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reporting as required, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Pursue opportunities for growth and development, recommending solutions to enhance SEI's outsourcing services and contributing to project plans associated with solution development and implementation.
  • Address queries, problems, and errors on a timely basis, providing expert guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Cultivate effective communication between departments in Dublin and the U.S, promoting a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or IT-related fields, with a focus on fund operations.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in fund operations, with a strong understanding of Alternatives/Hedge Funds.
  • Familiarity with the Syndicated or Private Debt Loan Market, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Geneva or similar Fund Accounting systems, including bank debt processing functionality.
  • Ability to reconcile transactions when comparing bank debt activity and broker statements, with a strong attention to detail.
