Job Title: Business Insights Specialist

This is a strategic and analytical role requiring a sharp thinker who translates data into actionable insights and collaborates with stakeholders to inform key business decisions.

You will work alongside other analysts and insight specialists to uncover important trends, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to performance improvements.

  • Develop and deliver strategic insights that support planning, commercial operations, and performance management.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, concise, and actionable insights through effective visualisation and storytelling.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business priorities and provide insights that inform key initiatives.
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity, rigour, and forward-thinking analysis within the insights team.
  • Promote the use of modern analytics and visualisation tools and best practices.
  • Tailor insights to different audiences, ensuring recommendations are clear and actionable.
  • Support cross-functional teams in using data effectively to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor external market, customer, and competitor trends to inform strategic decisions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a business insights, strategy, or analytics role - ideally within a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis, modelling, and visualisation tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and how to apply them to business challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Skilled at data storytelling - combining visuals, narrative, and context to bring insights to life.
  • Commercially aware, with a good understanding of business operations, KPIs, and performance drivers.
