The Senior Account Manager is a key role responsible for driving business growth, managing critical accounts across Europe, and reporting directly to the Regional Director. This position combines strategic business development, relationship management, and hands-on account oversight to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and ensure customer retention through tailored solutions.
This position involves leading major account relationships, primarily in Ireland, with frequent travel across the UK and Europe. You will identify new business opportunities through market analysis and industry intelligence, collaborate with the European leadership team to align sales strategies with regional objectives, and mentor junior account managers.
- Manage and grow relationships with top accounts in Ireland, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market share
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, trends, and competitive threats
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs
Education: Degree/MSc/MBA (preferably in Polymer Science, Engineering, or related fields)
Experience: 10+ years in account management, business development, or similar roles in the polymer, chemical, or manufacturing industries
