Medical Support Specialist
Our client is an established Irish medical company who design Artificial Limbs and Orthopaedic Devices for clients with physical disabilities. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and accountability are critical. Currently, we are seeking a Full-Time Medical Support Specialist to help with continued growth based in our new Cork Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing patient administration and management support, scheduling patients and clinics
- Meeting and greeting all office visitors, making a positive impression as the first point of contact
- Providing administrative support for managers
- Answering phones, screening, and redirecting calls as appropriate
- General office support, including filing and maintaining paperwork, correspondence, mail, supply management
- Performing other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- 1 year Admin experience required - Medical experience preferred
- Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Sage, Data Entry, Patient Management System Knowledge, File Sharing, etc.
- Excellent Communication & Organisational Skills with Attention to Detail & Ensuring Follow-up
- Positive Attitude, Ownership/Initiative, Accountability and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of client service delivery and to maintain clear lines of communication
- Excels in a Fast-Paced Environment, and meets tight deadlines
- Formal Education Post Leaving Certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration ideal
